HercuGlass Guarantee for the Food Service Industry.Food Service Industry: In addition to other benefits from use of our HercuGlass treated, ultra break-resistant glassware, we guarantee that your establishment will save money. Yes, our glassware is more expensive than the untreated Libbey, Arc International, or Anchor Hocking glass that we strengthen, but breakage rates are reduced up to 90 % depending on the product and the use environment. Here are some details regarding the guarantee and options as to how we strengthen glassware for you. 1. We can strengthen YOUR glassware, glassware we purchase, or glassware you purchase and have shipped to us. Most of our offerings are from Libbey. However, a few are from Arc International (and generally made in the USA), or from Anchor Hocking. We can get just about any product sold by Anchor and most of the popular items sold by Libbey. The costs of the above options are probably not too different, although for smaller establishments we may be able to get better pricing on the glassware. 2. If you want to test your current glassware vs. HercuGlass treated, we will "label" (invisible to your customers) our glassware so that you know whether it is a HercuGlass treated piece or your normal ware that is breaking. The Guarantee: 3. Our guarantee is based on your current glass costs for a particular item, AND the current breakage rate. (You can probably estimate breakage from how many times per year you need to order a product.) If, when using our product, despite reduced breakage, you end up spending more money for your glassware than previously, we will refund the difference OR will replace our glassware. The time period over which losses are calculated will depend on your current breakage rates. Generally one can tell whether the products are performing well by the end of 3 months, but in some cases it may take longer for enough data to be available. 4. If an establishment claims excessive losses such that their costs are substantially higher when using our glass, we will honor the guarantee. However, we will not sell additional product to that establishment. This provides us a small degree of protection against false claims as well as protecting those who have legitimate losses. If applicable, prior to the sale we ask you to provide us with an estimate of what % breakage
you generally observe in a 6 month period and the major cause of
breakage. (for a given item) We will then guarantee that our glassware will save you money!!
If breakage is not reduced enough to cover the cost difference between
our glasses and those you have been using, we will cover the difference
via a refund, or new glassware.

breakage can be significant. Based on our testing, customer experience, and knowledge of
glass fracture, we expect that our glassware will experience about
